West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee criticised the Indian Railways, claiming nobody visited the Eastern Railway office building in Kolkata where nine people lost their lives in a fire. She said, “The property belongs to Railways, it’s their responsibility but they were unable to provide a map of the building.” However, the Eastern Railway’s General Manager claimed officers were present there.
