Aurangabad/Mumbai, June 24 (UNI) During the past 24 hours 5,218 fresh positive of Covid-19 case which is highest in recent days and single virus related death was reported across in the state , according to health bulletin on Friday.
With the addition of these new cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 79,50,240 and the death toll goes up to 1,47,893.
Meanwhile,4989 cured patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 77,77,480.
The state’s recovery rate significantly came down to 97.83 per cent and fatality rate 1.86 per cent .
So far 8,17,47,761 total samples were tested across the state of them 79,50,240 were tested as positive which is 9.31 percent.
Presently, 24,867 active patients were undergoing treatment in different hospitals.
,the bulletin added.
Meanwhile ,43 positive patients were reported including 22 in Aurangabad, 11 positive patients in Nanded and 10 patients in Osmanabad district , while no one patient was reported in the rest of 5 districts of Marathwada region of state ,the bulletin further added.
