Low pressure area formed over central parts of South Bay of Bengal: Met

Hyderabad : Under the influence of Cyclonic Circulation over Southeast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal, a Low pressure area has formed over central parts of South Bay of Bengal with the associated cyclonic circulation extending upto 5.8 km above mean sea level.

It is likely to move westwards during the next three days, Meteorological Centre said on Wednesday.

In a bulletin here, it said that the trough in easterlies from the Cyclonic Circulation over Southeast adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal now runs from the cyclonic circulation associated with the above Low Pressure Area to Northwest Bay of Bengal and extends upto 1.5 km above mean sea level.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana on October 30 and 31.

Dry Weather is likely to prevail in the state from Wednesday to Friday, the bulletin added.
