Patna : The lockdown has been extended till May 25 in Bihar to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in the state.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, after reviewing the situation of lockdown with his cabinet colleagues and senior officers decided to extend the lockdown further for 10 days.
Sharing this information through a tweet on social media Mr Kumar said that during review it was found that the lockdown had a positive impact and in view of which it was decided to extend it for further 10 days from May 16 till May 25.
Earlier the Nitish government had imposed lockdown on May 5 till May 15.
