Bhubaneswar, : Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) has posted a 100% result
in the 10th Board Examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE),
Odisha, results of which were declared today. While the average pass rate in Odisha is 94.93 percent, the KISS has once again attained 100 percent success rate. This achievement signifies the 18th consecutive year in which KISS students have achieved 100 percent results in the Matric examination. This year, a total of 1,900 students from the school appeared for the examination. Among them, 41% secured over 60 per cent marks, while the remaining students scored over 50 per cent and passed in the second
division. KISS student Khairani Majhi from Keonjhar emerged as the school topper with an impressive score of 560 marks.Notably, 201 students belonging to the Particularly
Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG), such as Saura, Bonda, Juang, Khadia, Lodha, and Paudi Bhuyan have performed exceptionally well. It is also noteworthy that students from the neighboring state of Jharkhand, who are studying at KISS, have achieved excellent results in the Matric exam.Most of these students are the first learners in their families, becoming the first generation to pursue formal education. Their success is a testament to the strong academic foundation and nurturing environment provided
by KISS. Teachers and staff have taken care of them with exceptional dedication, guiding
and mentoring them to overcome challenges and build a solid base for future academic
pursuits.Expressing joy over the results, KIIT & KISS Founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta
congratulated all the successful students. He attributed the consistent success of KISS to
the dedication of the teachers and staff, their timely guidance, and the tireless efforts of the students. Dr. Samanta extended his heartfelt thanks to all the teachers, staff, and students for their relentless commitment and contribution to this remarkable achievement.
