Kesari chapter 2: Highly anticipated courtroom drama sees slow start at box office

The highly anticipated courtroom drama Kesari Chapter -2, has taken a slow start at the box office. The advance booking numbers hints at modest opening. The film has grossed Rs 8.53 lakhs in advance  ticket sales on Day 1 across India. 2,860 tickets have been sold for 1,776 shows in the Hindi 2D format. Movie is directed by Karan Singh Tyagi. The Movie is starred by Akshay Kumar, R.Madhavan and Ananya Pandey. It is based on Raghu and Pushpa Palat’s gripping non-fiction book, ‘The Case that shook the .’ Story showcases the fight of Chettur Sankaran Nair for the victims of Jallianwala Bagh Massacre against the British Empire. The entire team of Kesari 2 attended the grand premiere held in New Delhi on April 15, 3days ahead of its release this week. While speaking at the event, Akshay Kumar made a special request to the viewers, he said, “I humbly request all of you to please keep your phones in your pockets and listen to every dialogue of this film. It will mean a lot. He further added, “If you try to check your
instagram during the movie, it will be a humiliation for the film. So I request everyone to keep their phones away.” The movie is all set to release on April 18, 2025.
