New Delhi, Janata Dal (United) Rajya Sabha MP from Bihar Mahendra Prasad has passed away after a prolonged illness on Monday, according to the party sources.The sources said the 81-year-old MP breathed his last at Apollo Hospital in the capital.Due to illness, he did not attend the proceedings of the winter session of Parliament.He was a well-known social worker and had earned a reputation in the pharmaceutical industry.Party leaders have expressed condolences on the demise of the MP.
