Kochi, Apr 12 (UNI) The helicopter belonging to Lulu Group was removed from the swamp where it crash-landed following a technical snag on Sunday.
The helicopter, carrying Lulu Group Chairman M A Yusuff Ali, his wife and five others, crash-landed in a swamp near Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) campus in Panangad.
The mission to lift the helicopter from the swamp started on Sunday midnight and it was completed by Monday morning. Later the helicopter was shifted to a Centre in Edappally here, Sources said.
Mr Ali, his wife and others were flying from their residence here to a nearby private hospital to call on a relative admitted in a hospital.
Mr Ali, his wife and three others have been placed under observation at the Lakeshore hospital.
Later Ali and his wife returned to Abu Dhabi in a special flight sent by the Royal family in Abu Dhabi.
