New Delhi: FormerJharkhand chief ministerRaghubar Das has beenappointed as the next Governorof Odisha. The RashtrapatiBhavan issued a communique inthis regard on Wednesday.Das, a veteran BJP leader willreplace Prof Ganeshi Lal.Das was the chief minister ofJharkhand from 2014 to 2019. Heis currently serving as the
national vice president of theBJP. He was elected to theJharkhand Legislative Assemblyfive times.Similarly, Indra Sena ReddyNallu, a veteran BJP leader fromTelangana will be the nextGovernor of Tripura.The communique stated thatPresident Droupadi Murmu ispleased to make theappointments that will takeeffect from the dates theyassume charge of theirrespective offices.
