London, June 22 (UNI) Former Pakistan cricket captain Zaheer Abbas has been shifted to the intensive care unit (ICU) here in the private hospital as his health worsened.
He was admitted to the hospital three days ago after which he was put on oxygen support, Geo News quoated the family sources as saying on Tuesday.
Abbas had contracted Covid-19 while travelling to London from Dubai. After reaching the British capital, he complained of kidney pain and was diagnosed with pneumonia.
“He is currently on dialysis and the doctors have advised him to refrain from meeting people,” the sources added.
