Odia Film Soon on True Story of “Dharmapada”

Khordh: Dharmpada, who was recognized as the first martyr in history – not just the name of a 12-year-old boy, but a history. A living history of Odian caste, art and culture which stands today as a corner temple in Odisha. Then he sacrificed his life to save the lives of 1200 artisans and remained immortal in history. That history is going to be brought back to life on the screen today with Jasodeep Productions’ unique film “Dharmapada”, the title of which was announced. So, ‘Dharmapada’ is made up of stories that are not history, but are quoted from the handwriting of Chinese translators, stories that no one has ever told or heard before,” said Deepak Nayak, the sponsor of the film. The film is directed by talented director Ajay Padhi. The title of the film has been announced and the selection of the lead actors is also underway. The shooting of the film will start soon and the audience will get to see an exciting story in this film, informed Pranaya Jethi, Creative Head of , Media Planner. The title announcement ceremony of this Dharmapada film based on true events was attended by many distinguished guests including State President of International Human Rights Council Minketan Patnaik, retired Indian Administrative Service and Adviser to the State Government Bhuban Mohan Das, retired Indian Administrative Service Officer R. N. Dash, Sunil Muraka, Director, Murarka Group of Industries, Siddharth Patra, Director, Subadra Group of Industries, Chrome Sagar Pvt. Many dignitaries including MD Rajendra Kumar Thatoi, MD Killing Hospital Nilanjan Mukherjee, director Ajay Padhi, sponsor Deepak Nayak were present.
