Dharmendra Pradhan Slams Rahul Gandhi Over Remarks On Indian Economy

New Delhi : Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday launched a
scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi following his recent criticism of India’s economic performance. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Pradhan defended India’s growth trajectory, calling it “strong” and “globally recognized,” while dismissing Gandhi’s comments as “delusional” and “imported narratives.” The Minister maintained that India remains the fastest-growing major economy and continues to shine as a global economic bright spot. “It is certainly ‘Not Dead’, by any means,” he wrote, directly
countering Gandhi’s remarks. He accused the Congress MP of parroting foreign viewpoints to malign India’s image and questioned his credibility as a political leader.
“The latest tirade by Rahul Gandhi has proved once again that not only is he delusional and ignorant of facts but also deeply frustrated,” Pradhan said. He further warned
that Gandhi’s approach may serve his political ambitions but would not help him gain respect as a sensible politician. “He should come out of his fantasy world. Else,
the only thing that will be dead and destroyed is the little ground that Congress is holding,” Pradhan added. Pradhan’s remarks come amid heightened political tensions, with opposition leaders increasingly vocal about economic disparities and governance issues. It reflects the BJP government’s broader strategy to counter criticism and reinforce its narrative of economic resilience and reform.
