Cuttack Bali Jatra accorded national festival status

Bhubaneswar,: Historic Cuttack Bali in Odisha Jatra is now a national festivity.The Ministry of Culture, government of India arrorded the coveted status to the Cuttack Bali Yatra which which showcases the maritime trade of ancient Odisha voyaging across the South-west Asian continents including Java and Bali in Indonesia. Considering the demands before PM Modi of by some social outfits to accredit the biggest open air fair in Odisha as a national festivity, PM Modi rendered it a national status.The denizens of Cuttack and the people of Odisha as a whole expressed deep gratitude to the PM and the Union Minister for Culture as well, with the national credit to the Cuttack Bali Yatra today.
