Petropavlovsk : Kamchatsky, Jul 6 (UNI/Sputnik) Contact was lost with an An-26 aircraft in Russia’s Far East that was carrying 28 people, the regional department of the Emergencies Ministry told Sputnik.
“In the afternoon of July 6, the duty shift of the crisis management center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry’s Main Directorate in the Kamchatka Territory received information that the An-26 aircraft, on a passenger flight from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to Palana, did not get in touch at the specified time.
According to preliminary data, there are 22 passengers on board the plane, including one child and 6 crew members,” the ministry said.
