Shah and other key figures, including Union Ministers and Chief Ministers from states
governed by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), she revealed. The Chief Minister is also seeking the presence of the Prime Minister and the Home Minister at the event
commemorating the first anniversary of the BJP government in Odisha, said Parida, upon returning from a trip to New Delhi. “Our CM has invited PM Modi for this year’s Rath Yatra and to commemorate the first anniversary of the BJP government in Odisha. PM Modi might consider the invitation. The invite has also been extended to HM Amit
Shah and all Union Ministers and CMs of NDA-led states,” the Deputy CM told media
persons at the airport. The Rath Yatra, an annual chariot festival, draws millions of devotees and is a culturally significant event in the state. This year in June 27, it hopes to shine even brighter with the potential presence of national leaders. Followers and residents are anticipating this event with great enthusiasm, as it highlights both religious unity and political solidarity in the region. Rath Yatra will be celebrated on June 27 in Puri. CM Majhi has invited PM Modi to witness this divine event. Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari had earlier said that the Chief Minister Majhi is in touch with the Prime Minister’s Office regarding the visit. He added that most promises made by the BJP government in Odisha have been fulfilled. He wants that the Prime Minister and
other Union Cabinet members attend the program.
