Panaji: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Sunday expressed anguish overdeath of two police constables.
In a tweet, he said,” Anguished by the sad demise of Constable Shailesh Gaonkar and VishwasDeykar while on Nakabandi duty at Seraulim. Goa Police is conducting further investigation inthe matter.”
“My deepest condolences to the families and keen of the deceased. Om Shant,” he said.
Two police constables were killed when a speeding car hit them at Seraulim in South Goa onSunday.
According to police, the accident occured when the constables were in Nakabandi duty.
