Bhubaneswar, August 7: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday announced a 38% hike in the Duty Call Allowance (DCA) of Home Guards in Odisha. The decision to hike the duty call allowance was taken at a highlevel meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra following the directions of the CM. Naveen approved the hike of Rs 416 per day towards duty call allowance. Earlier, the Home Guards got a monthly allowance of Rs 9,000 which has now been revised to Rs 12,480.
