Khordha : In the final match of the Classic Cricket League held at the BJB,High School Mini Stadium,Khordha. SAI-XI became the champion by defeating Burman Emporums.Sai-XI, winning the toss & scored 233 runs for the lost of 7 wickets.Jiten Jena scored 80 runs from 25 balls for the team.In replay, Burman team was able to scored only 199 runs for the lost of 6 wickets.On behalf of the team Saroj Pattnaik scored 51 runs from 28. For the result of which Sai-XI,team won the match by 34 runs.The chief guest of the event Capt. Manmath Rautray, guest of honour Soumendra Samantaray,Chandi Prasad Acharya, Subhranshu Ranjan Samantaray a, Biranchi Narayan Jena were present & encouraged the players.Six teams participated in this league, while more than 100 Players were given a chance to play.Jiten Jena was declared the best player of the league, Subham Nayak was awarded the best bowler, & Aslam Khan was awarded to score most of the fours. The winning team, Sai-XI, was awarded a trophy with cash prize, while the runners-up team, Burman Empires, was awarded a trophy with cash prize by the guests. Jitu Patra, Ayushman Singh & Biswas Sahu conducted the game.
