Shimla : Chandigarh-Manali National Highway was disrupted by a landslide at Aaut Shiv mandir in Mandi district this morning a state official confirmed.
State Emergency Operation Centre spokesperson Sudesh Mokta said that information received from District Emergency Operation Centre, Mandi said that the landslide occured at 0600 hrs this morning near Aaut
Shiv Mandir.
All vehicular traffic was stopped after the landslide.
NHAI officers have been informed about the landslide and asked to restore the road traffic.
District Administration and NHAI have arrived at the spot.
No loss of life have been reported in the mishap. A massive landslide also occurred in the road on Wednesday
morning but it was restored. Number of National, State and link roads are affected by landslides and sliding of massive boulders and rock in the number of places in Kinnuar, Kullu, Lahaul Spiti and Mandi district.
These are being triggered due to heavy rainfall in the state.
