Boney Kapoor shares an emotional journey

Mumbai: Boney Kapoor took to Instagram to share the journey of family in Bombay film industry and remember his”bade papa” Prithvi Raj Kapoor.
He shared a throwback picture and said: “My papa with bade papaji, it was Prithviraj Kapoorji who brought my father to Bombay as it was known then, got him a job asassistant to K.Asif who was making Mogul EAzam, thus began our family’s journey in film industry.”
“Your roots are also as an outsider who worked hard to be part of Bollywood and made name.Your surname special in the film fraternity and your journey proves the struggles are still as equivalent as an ‘Outsider’ and nothing less,” “Ishaqzaade” star and Boney’s son Arjun Kapoor said in comment section.
Boney’s brothers actors Sanjay Kapoor and Anil Kapoor also loved the post and shared heart emojis.
Considered as the First Family of Indian Cinema the Kapoor clan over the generations, now inits fifth G, over 94 years has ruled the Bollywood film industry.
The founder of the dynasty in Bollywood was patriarch Prithviraj Kapoor, who began his career with 1928 debut “Do Dhari Talwar”.
He is known for classics “Awaara” (in 1951 alongside sons Raj Kapoor and Shashi Kapoor).
