Bhubaneswar ,: A Bhubaneswar Municipal corporation (BMC) cleaning vehicle caught fire on Tuesday. The vehicle was gutted in fire in the Chandrasekharpur Damana road in Bhubaneswar. It was on a cleaning duty when it caught fire.The fire tenders reached the spot and doused the fire. Traffic was disrupted following the fire accident. The reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained.According to
information, a BMC vehicle was on its cleaning duty near Damana square today morning. It suddenly caught fire while cleaning. Dense smoke of up to 15 feet rose as the cleaning vehicle caught fire. It is suspected that due to leak in engine oil the fire must have caught.Two fire brigades were engaged in dousing the fire. The fire was extinguished using foam spray. A traffic jam was seen after the cleaning vehicle caught fire. Police reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
