Kolkata : The Indian Cricket Board on Friday named a 16-member Indian Test squad under captain Ajnkya Rahane in the coming two-match series against visiting New Zealand beginning at Kanpur on November 25.
Virat Kohli will lead India in the second Test to be held in Mumbai from December 3, the BCCI said.
” The All-India Senior Selection Committee has picked the squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against New Zealand,” a Board of Control for Cricket in India release said.
Squad :Ajinkya Rahane (Captain), KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, Cheteshwar Pujara (vicecaptain), Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, Wriddhiman Saha (wicket-keeper), KS Bharat (wicketkeeper), Ravindra Jadeja, R. Ashwin, Axar Patel, Jayant Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav, Md. Siraj, Prasidh Krishna.
