‘Alternative Learning Project’ launched in Keonjhar

Bh u b a n e s w a r : Th e K e o n j h a r d i s t r i c t administration, with an objective to develop digital
literacy at the beginning of schooling life, launched the “Alternative Learning Project” today in Darbar Hall, Collectorate, in the presence of Upendra Tri p a t h y, P ri n c i p a l Advisor (Education) to Chief Minister. Alternative Learning Programme aims a t I n t e g r a t i o n a n d Alternative Learning Project’ launched in Keonjhar inculcation of Digital Technology into the teaching and learning of students in primary education. It promotes a culture of earlystage IT use and practice in ways suitable to students’ developmental levels to improve learning outcomes. The initiative will be piloted in 20 Schools of Sadar and Banspal Block, supported by DMF Ke o n j h a r. Th is initiative will further support the students of Classes 4 and 5 to perform well in National Achievement Survey-2024.
Among others present during the launching event were, Akshara Foundation Chairman Ashok Kamath, Akshara Foundation State Lead Ranjita Pattnaik, A d d i t i o n a l D ir e c t o r (Quality) Prasant Swain, and Keonjhar Collector Ashish Thakare.
