Srinagar : Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar on Thursday visited Tulail valley near the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir district of Bandipora and met security forces guarding the borders.
Official sources said that Mr Kumar arrived at Neeru village in Tulail valley in Gurez, which is surrounded from Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) from three sides, at around 1200 hrs on Thursday in a helicopter. “Mr Kumar met security force personnel guarding the forward posts, including from Army and BSF, at Neeru village,” they said.
Confirming the arrival of the Bollywood actor in the valley, a BSF official said that Mr Kumar has once again come to meet the brave hearts guarding the borders as the country is entering into the 75th year of Independence. “Mr Kumar on Thursday went to one of the forward locations of BSF,” he said.
However, he didn’t give any further details about the visit.
