Mumbai: India cricketer Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma on Monday issued statement after their daughter Vamika’s pictures went viral on the Internet. In her Instagram post, Anushka said she was caught off guard and did not know that the camera was focussed on her daughter. She also requested fans and media not to circulate her daughter’s images any further. On Sunday, during the third ODI between India and South Africa, camera panned on Anushka Sharma who was holding her one-year-daughter in her arms. It was for the first time when Vamika’s face was revealed, and immediately she set the social media on fire. Anushka and Vamika were seen clapping and celebrating Kohli’s 64th ODI half-century in the final match at Newlands in Cape Town. “Hi guys! We realise that our daughters images were captured at the stadium yesterday and widely shared thereafter. We want to inform everyone that we were caught off guard and didn’t know that the camera was on us. “Our stance and request on the matter stays the same. We would really appreciate if Vamika’s images are not clicked/published for reasons we have explained earlier,” Anushka wrote on Instagram story. Virat also posted the same note on his social media account. Both celebrities have made requests on many occasion to their fans and the media not to publish pictures of their daughter, saying they want to give a chance to her to live her life freely away from media.Â
