Unlocking Potential Through Skilling Future of Nation

Cuttack: A Nalanda Skill Development Centre was inaugurated by Shri Bipin Behari Rout, Joint CEO, ORMAS in the presence of Ms. Jasaswini Pattanaik, Chairperson- Nalanda Public School, Director, JSS, Nandola Gram Panchayat Sarpanch, Periphery Development Officer-Nalanda Public School and other concerned officials. The Skill Development Centre will be managed by the women members of the Nalanda Producer Group promoted by ORMAS-Cuttack and Jana Sikshya Sansthan. The center will be a skilling home for women and girl students who are the sole torchbearers in the development of our nation, skilling a girl is equivalent to skilling humanity. The center will provide training in various trades like tailoring, wellness, hospitality sector, etc. in association with JSS and ORMAS. A 3 months in-house training program for tailoring and design development was initiated in collaboration with JSS. The major aim of the skill development center is to create a pool of skilled and empowered women workforce. It will be a boon for the women and girl children of the local area.
