IND vs PAK, Asia Cup 2025: India registers second-biggest T20I win against Pakistan

Dubai : India registered its second-biggest T20I win against Pakistan, in terms of balls
remaining, in their Asia Cup 2025 encounter in Dubai on Sunday. The Men in Blue coasted to a seven-wicket win, with 25 balls to spare in the second innings. This was just short of India’s performance against Pakistan in 2016, when it claimed a win with 27 balls remaining. India’s win on Sunday was set up by brilliant bowling performance,
which saw it restrict Pakistan to 127 for nine after losing the toss. Wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav chipped in with three wickets, while Axar Patel and Varun Chakaravarthy added two apiece. India’s chase was powered by a quickfire start by Abhishek Sharma, who scored a 13-ball 31, before Suryakumar Yadav guided the side to its second consecutive
win in Group A.
