East Coast Railway Extends Two Special Trains to Puri Until Mid-September

Bhubaneswar : The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced the extension of two
special train services to accommodate the rising demand for passenger travel. The decision aims to ensure smooth and convenient travel options for commuters while
maintaining the existing schedules, stoppages, and train compositions. The Bhanjpur–Puri–Bhanjpur Special (Train No. 08011/08012) will now operate until 13th September 2025 from Bhanjpur and 14th September 2025 from Puri. Similarly, the Shalimar–Puri–
Shalimar Special (Train No. 02839/02840) has been extended until 14th September 2025 from Shalimar and 15th September 2025 from Puri. This extension reflects ECoR’s
commitment to addressing the travel needs of passengers, particularly during peak periods. The special trains are expected to ease congestion and provide reliable transportation for those travelling to and from Puri, a key destination for both tourists and locals. Passengers are encouraged to plan their journeys and take advantage of these extended services. For further details on bookings, timings, and stoppages, travellers
