Bhubaneswar : Odisha Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari paid a courtesy visit to Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati at Raj Bhavan on
Tuesday. The meeting centered around key issues related to governance, disaster
preparedness, and the overall development of the state. According to an official release,
Minister Pujari apprised the Governor of the department’s recent initiatives to enhance
disaster management systems, strengthen public service delivery, and ensure inclusive development across all regions of Odisha. The Governor appreciated the department’s ongoing efforts and highlighted the critical need for proactive planning and interagency coordination to safeguard citizens, especially in the face of natural calamities. He also
reiterated the importance of good governance as a pillar of sustainable progress in the state. The meeting underscored the state government’s continued emphasis on building institutional resilience and improving administrative responsiveness in disaster-prone areas.
