‘Subhadra Shakti Mela’ from March 28 to March 3

Puri: A preparatory meeting of the Subhadra Shakti Mela was held under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Siddharth Shankar Swain at Puri Circuit House on Monday. Zilla Parishad Chief Development Officer Priyaranjan Prusty read out the report in the meeting. The Subhadra Shakti Mela will be held from March 28 to March 3 at the District Stadium in Talabania. The ‘Bhakta Mela’ is being organised by the Women and Child Development, Mission Shakti Department. Around 150 stalls will be opened in the fair and women from different districts will come and attend. Deputy Chief Minister Prabhatiparida is scheduled to inaugurate the Subhadra Shakti Mela on The 28th. here Handicrafts, artefacts, millets and organic products will be on display. There will be live demostalls of Odia heritage, culture, art, craft, skill, pattachitra, artistry, artistrychandua preparation etc. Various cultural programmes will be performed. Various departments will participate in the fair.
