Pancha Paika Bazaar Inaugurated in Khordha

Khordha ,: The Pancha Paika Bazaar inaugurated at TLC, road by khordha muncipal council. The bazaar was officially inaugurated by MP, Mrs.Aparajita Sarangi & MLA, Khordha, Prasanta Kumar Jagdev. Collector, Khordha, Mr.Chanchala Rana, Zilla Parishad Chief Development & Executive Officer, Joyti Ranjan Sahu, Sub-Collector, Khordha, Dipti Ranjan Sethi were graced the occasions. Executive Officer,
Khordha, Muncipal Council, Mrs.Rizwana Kawkab, delivered the welcome speech & introduced the guests. In her speech, E.O, Mrs.Kawkab revealed that the project has been constructed at an estimated
cost of Rs-6,83 Crores & that 166 street vendors have been rehabilitated in the first phase. Along with this about 70 vegetables vendors have been provided with ” Pindi” for doing business. The chief guest of the occasions, MP,Mrs.Sarangi in her speech, she said that” The National Street Vendors Day” will be celebrated in 20th January, to raise awareness on the significant challenges that street vendors face & call their recognition of the contribution made by street vendors to local & national development. ” She said, arrangement’s have been made to rehabilitated 500 vendors in the coming days. Shops will be built at an estimated cost of Rs-50 lakhs, 20 lakhs from her own funds & 10 lakhs from MLAs, funds & the vendors will be accommodated. MLA, Mr.Jagdev informed about the identification of 10 acres of govt.
lands, a project of Rs-2 Crores for construction of Non-veg market’s were prepared by khordha muncipal council is going on. He, stressed that, the rulers & administrator are working in a straight line, there
will be no hindrance in the development of khordha town & today will be written in golden letter in history. He lauded that, Many good measures have been taken by khordha muncipal council to change the material financial system of the people of khordha. Collector, Mr.Rana, said in his speech that under any circumstances there is no question arise to an agreement with the people, who are obstructing the development of khordha town & strict action will be taken by the district administration if those who are
set up cabin in khordha town. He also informed that the basic needs like electricity, drinking water, toilet, parking area etc. have been fulfilled to the Pancha Paika Bazaar rehabilitated vendors by the khordha muncipal council.
