One Day National Workshop in Kshetramohan science Degree college

One day National workshop was organised by the Dept. of Economics of Narendrapur, Kshetramohan science Degree college on 15th December, 2024,in collaboration with SOEA on the topic”Empowering Entrepreneurs : Skills, Start-ups and MSMEs in the changing Ecosystem ”
In the Inaugural session, Sri Krishna Chandra Nayak, Hon’ble MLA, Chatrapur was the chief guest. It was presided by Governing body president Dr. Sushanta Kumar Mishra. Dr. Sandhya Rani Das, General Secretary of SOEA presented keynote address . Sri Bhupatti C Sahu principal introduced guests and organizing member Sri. P. C. Satapathy coordinated the session.
Dr. Susant Das, Regional director, Regional Directorate of Secondary Education, Berhampur joined as guest of honour. Dr. Sukant Kumar Sahoo, Joint director, Dept of MSME, Govt of India, New Delhi delivered his speech as a chief speaker through online, Sri Jagadish Sahu, IES, Asst director, Ministry of MSME, Govt of India, Cuttack was keynote speaker
Second session was coordinated by Retd Reader, Dr. Dhanalaxmi pattnaik . Dr. J. Mohanty, Asst professor, PMEG, Berhampur , Dr. L. P. panda, Asst professor, Dept. GCE, Bhawanipatna, Dr. R. P. Padhy, Education Officer, DTNBWED, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Govt of India, Bhubaneswar delivered their speech on the topic . Also smt. Nirlipta Ojha, Managing Director Dharitri Udyan, Bhubaneswar and st. Niruja Rath Proprietor, Food & Handicraft, Narendrapur, Ganjam presented their case study on MSMEs
It was concluded that for the success of a start-up, there is a need to make strategic planning, self-determination & deep understanding of market status. There is a need to change Skill-set and mind-set of the entrepreneurs. It will help them to meet future challenges, seize opportunities & drive innovation.
At last, organizing secretary Ms Khetrashree panda gave vote of thanks. Lecturers, members & students of the college cooperated for the success of the workshop.
