Kerala Assembly to discuss adjournment motion on gold smuggling case

Thiruvananthapuram, June 28 (DumaniMail) Kerala Assembly will discuss the Opposition Congress-led UDF’s adjournment motion on diplomatic baggage gold smuggling case on Tuesday. Assembly Speaker MB Rajesh allowed the discussion after Congress party’s Shafi Parambil moved the adjournment motion on the matter. The discussion will take place from 2 PM on the controversial case in which the Kerala Chief Minister and his family members were allegedly involved. Earlier, Swapna Suresh, accused in the diplomatic baggage gold smuggling case, given her 164 statement before a court in Kochi. Now she is being probed by the ED based on her new revelations in the case.
