Puducherry, June 22 (UNI) Leaders and cadres of Left Parties and the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi(VCK) here on Wednesday held a demonstration near the Swadeshi cotton mills to protest against the Centre’s Agnipath scheme.
Theyshouted slogans against the BJP-led NDA government and demanded withdrawal of the scheme.
Led by CPI Secretary A M Saleem, leaders and cadres of the CPI, CPI(M), CPI(ML) and VCK participated in the demonstration.
