Sukma (Chhattisgarh): Sixultras have surrendered in Sukma andDantewada districts of Left-wing extremism-affected Bastar division.
“Dandakaranya Adivasi Kisan MazdoorSangh ‘President’ Dudhi Sukka, Gondiram-resident Dudhi Pandu and Sodi Devacapitulated on Monday. They were active inSukma’s Maraiguda and Golapalli areas andcarried rewards of Rs 1 lakh each. Budhram, Kosh Kavsi and Joga Podiyam also returned to themainstream. They were operating in Dantewada’s Chikpal, Marjum and Koropal in KatekalyanPolice Station limits. Insurgent Muchaki Dulgon alias Topi – on whom a purse of Rs 10,000 hadbeen announced – was placed under arrest by a patrol. He was active in Parcheli forest,”Inspector General (Bastar Range) Sundarraj P said on Tuesday.
