Tokyo : Twenty-seven people were dead as a fire broke out in a building in Japan’s Osaka prefecture Friday, local media reported.
The fire started on the fourth floor of the building located near JR Osaka Station and was extinguished by around 10:45 am local time, according to the local fire department, which received a report of fire at around 10:20 am local time.
The fire burned across an area of approximately 20 square meters.
