Berhampur: On the occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week Union Bank of India, Berhampur Regional Office organized a walkathon. All the employees of the Regional offices and the branches in Berhampur City and R.L.P, M.L.P, A.L.P participated in this program. The walkathon started from the Regional Office premises and ended at Regional Office via Tata Benz Chhak, Giri Road, Station Road, Khallikote College, Subarao Chhak and Janana Hospital Road. Satyabrata Samal, Regional Head, Regional Office, Berhampur informed everyone about vigilance awareness for the benefit of all the employees, Stakeholders, Customers and Account holders. They discussed elaborately about the eradication of corruption and vowed to prevent the Country from bribery and corrupt practices. Sanjib Kumar Sahoo, Chief Manager, Regional Vigilance Department, highlighted the importance of vigilance week and its relevance in the present scenario and talked about its implementation in Banks. Deputy Regional Head Meghrai Marndi along with all departmental Heads were present in this walkathon
