Lucknow : Even after the new infection of Corona virus increasing daily in Uttar Pradesh, but Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is not in favor of complete lockdown like Delhi had announced on Monday.
This has been indicated in the virtual review meeting with Team-11 here on Monday.
CM Yogi Adityanath said instead of complete lockdown , officials should be instructed to increase the availability of oxygen and strict action with those violating the Covid protocol.
CM Yogi Adityanath has made it clear that Uttar Pradesh will not face complete lockdown. With the weekend lockdown in Uttar Pradesh, night curfew is already being imposed in more than 25 cities from eight o’clock in the night.
But the officials did not deny that the weekend lockdown in the state could now start from Friday night instead of Saturday thus extended it for 24 hours more from this week.
CM Yogi Adityanath reviewed with Team-11 officials about the corona transition. He took full report of the state of the corona conditions from the authorities. He then stressed on speeding up testing, tracking and vaccination.
The Chief Minister directed to deal strictly against those who do not wear masks, who should be caught for the second time for not wearing masks, to make public their photos and also to pay a fine of Rs 10,000. CM Yogi Adityanath made it clear that this time that there will not be a complete lockdown, but the strictness will be fulfilled. Weekend curfew may apply for sanitization.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that there is no shortage of life saving medicines. There is no shortage of any type of medicine including Remedisvir. Availability of these should be ensured in all districts. No negligence will be tolerated in this work.
He said 20,000 to 30,000 foil of Remedisvir will be received on Monday only. A new consignment of Remedisvir is also being received within the next three days. They will be distributed in a transparent manner.
CM gave instructions to strengthen all the arrangements including emergency requirements including food grains, medicines and other essentials .
The government can issue a lockdown order on Sunday as well as on Saturday. During this 48 hours, everyone will be asked not to leave their house except for any emergency.
