Naveen to Visit Mayurbhanj on 12th

Bhubane swa r : Ch i e f Minister Naveen Patnaik will visit Mayurbhanj on the 12th. During his visit, he will inaugurate the Subarnarekha Irrigation Project and Deo Project. He will inaugurate the Deo project in Hatibari, Karanjia. This project will irrigate 7500 hectares of agricultural land in the Karanjia subdivision. After Karanjia, the Chief Minister will attend the program organized at Tikpada in Ras Gobindpur. He will inaugurate a major irrigation project on the Subarnarekha river. This will irrigate 17 thousand hectares of land in the Balasore district including the Rasgobindpur block. Naveen laid the stone for this project in 2018. Pr e p a r a ti o n s f o r t h e inauguration of the project are going on by the administration. Lot of enthusiasm is seen among BJD leaders and workers for the Chief Minister’s visit. It is worth noting that the state government aims to make 15 large irrigation projects operational by 2024. In 2022, four large irrigation projects are to be implemented. Similarly, four large irrigation projects are to be set up in 2023 and seven in 2024.
