New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday greeted the people of Odisha on the occasion of Raja Parba.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, “Best wishes on the auspicious occasion of Raja Parba. I pray for the good health and well-being of everyone.”
Raja or Raja Parba or Mithuna Sankranti is a three-day-long festival of womanhood celebrated in Odisha. The second day of the festival signifies beginning of the solar month of Mithuna from, which the season of rains starts.
