Indian Army shares new video of Operation Sindoor

New Delhi, : The Indian Army released a new video of Operation Sindoor on social media site X Sunday, highlighting the military’s precision strike capacity. “Planned,
trained & executed,” the Indian Army’s Western Command captioned the video, underscoring the operation’s careful planning and successful execution. The video includes a security official declaring that Operation Sindoor was a lesson for Pakistan, which it had not learned in decades, and that it was a matter of justice, not revenge. The operation hit nine terror-related targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, after the April 22 Pahalgam attack that had killed 26 civilians. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh posted “Long live Mother India!” in Hindi, and the Indian Army posted “Justice is
Served”. Pakistan’s army confirmed the raids, terming them a “cowardly and shameful
attack”, and promised a “befitting reply”. Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif
threatened his nation would retaliate to what he called an “act of war imposed by India”. The Indian Army had issued a mysterious tweet on social media beforehand: “Ready to
strike, trained to win”, with a video highlighting the Indian troops’ weaponry. Pakistan’s
military spokesperson Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry asserted the strikes, asserting,
“All of our air force aircraft are airborne. This cowardly and shameful attack was launched from inside India’s airspace.”. The standoff witnessed the two nations trading
fire but a ceasefire was later settled through a hotline communication between directorsgeneral of both nations’ military operations. Indian Air Force Air Marshal A.K. Bharti later added that the goals of Operation Sindoor had been fulfilled, and all pilots returned safely home, saying, “We are in a combat scenario and losses are part of combat”
