London, June 27 (Dumanimail) At least one house was destroyed and other nearby houses were damaged by an explosion in Birmingham, England, which also resulted in some casualties, local police said.
“All emergency services are at the scene of a house explosion o n Dulwich Road, Kingstanding, Birmingham. One house is destroyed with others significantly damaged. Casualties reported. Evacuations taking place,” Birmingham Police said on social media late on Sunday.
According to West Midlands authorities, there are currently six fire crews working at the scene.
The cause of the explosion remains unknown.
Local media reports said that some nearby vehicles were also damaged by the blast.
