A Delhi District Court on Saturday dismissed the bail application of Neeraj Bishnoi, creator of an app using GitHub that hosted photographs of more than 100 Muslim women without their consent. The accused was produced before the court after completion of judicial custody, which was extended at the request of prosecution. Bishnoi’s counsel moved the bail application and said the applicant was ready to furnish the surety bond if granted bail. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Pankaj Sharma rejected the bail plea saying that grounds for bail were baseless.
