Moscow: Russia has logged 17,946 new cases of Covid-19, bringing the cumulative tally to 10,702,150, the authorities said on Wednesday.
As many as 745 patients lost their lives, pushing the country’s coronavirus death toll to 318,432.
Moscow witnessed the highest surge of 4,008 new infections on a single day, followed by Saint Petersburg with 1,659 and the Moscow region with 1,238 new cases.
