Paralakhemundi : ACF of Paralakhemundi Forest Division,Soumyaranjan Mahapatra came across fire & immediately taken to DHH(district head quarter hospital last night.
Due to seriousness he had been transferred to Cuttack. During treatment he was declared dead by doctors. 80â„… of his body burnt.DFO Sangram Keshari Behera, ACF Gouri Prasad Rath, Paralakhemundi Tehsildar Achuutananda Jani, Parala IIC Bibekananda Swain reached at DHH.
During treatment his statement recorded. He was busy with office file on moving & meanwhile came across suddenly with a kerosene tin & fell down.
Incidentally he came across emerged fire which flashed through kerocene & he could not save himself from fire.
Statement by IIC Swain given that his 80â„… of body gutted under fire & doctor referred him to Brahmapur & later on at Aswini pvt Hospital at Cuttack. Today he was declared dead. Recently he married & was staying with his wife.
