Bhubaneswar : Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today sanctioned additional funds from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for Covid Management in three districts.
Mr Patnaik sanctioned additional funds for Puri, Sonepur and Sambalpur districts following a surge in covid cases.
The Chief Minister sanctioned Rs 2 crore for Puri district which had earlier received Rs 14,59,74,408 from the government.
With the additional amount, Puri district now has received a total of Rs 16,59,74,408 for Covid management.
Mr Patnaik also sanctioned Rs 1 crore for Sonepur district, which was given Rs 2,50,00,000 earlier.
Similarly, Sambalpur district was sanctioned an additional fund of Rs 4,62,80,692 today. The government had sanctioned Rs 11,50,00,000 for the district earlier.
