Utkal Hiteishini Samaj lodges FIR against two authors of “Jeypore Raja Bansabali’ threatened to launch state wide protest!

Paralakhemundi : The writing about Maharaja Krushna Chandra Gajapati of Paralakhemundi in a recently published book ‘Jeypore Raja Bansabali’ (Jeypore King Dynasty) in Odia penned by Subas Chandra Mishra & Krushnachandra Sahu of Jeypore of Koraput district is insulting said Purnachandra Mahapatra Secretary of Utkal Hiteishini Samaj (UHS) Paralakhemundi .

They lodged an FIR through online against those two authors at Model Police Station Paralakhemundi. He also forwarded the copies to Chief Minister Of Odisha, Collector and SP Gajapati to take immediate action.

The insulting comments about Maharaja Krushna Chandra Gajapati of Paralakhemundi in this book on page 332 is a historical blunder and The irresponsible comments of these two authors that Maharaja Krushna Chandra Gajapati of Paralakhemundi and his maternal uncle Maharaja Vikram Dev of Jeypore ployed with British government to divide Odisha. Further Maharaja Krushna Chandra Gajapati of Paralakhemundi allegedly compromised with Madras Presidency to contribute some parts of Odia speaking areas to Andhra Pradesh, these two authors have mentioned in the book. The authors duo also said that Maharaja Krushna Chandra Gajapati of Paralakhemundi and his maternal uncle Maharaja Vikram Dev of Jeypore have exposed and asked the readers of the book to reconsider about respecting and paying tribute to them.

Purnachandra Mahapatra Secretary Utkal Hiteishini Samaj requested the authority to take legal action against those writers and seize the copies, stop publications and sales of that controversial book.
