A stone from a temple in Sita Eliya, the place in Sri Lanka where Goddess Sita is believed to have been held
as a captive, will be sent for Ram temple in Ayodhya.
“The stone was received at Mayurapathi Amman Temple by HC-designate of Sri Lanka to India HE Mr Milinda Moragoda,” High Commission of India tweeted along with pictures.
