South Odisha’s famous Parala car festival Without devotees and section 144 will be observed in Covid Katakana

Paralakhemundi : Paralakhemudi car festival, which has earned special fame in south Odisha and neighboring Andhra, has been known to be held without devotees due to Covid by the district administration.

Section 144 has been issued to strengthen the temple for no devotees to enter the temple during the Chariot Festival on July 12th.

This 144 section will have strength within 100 meter range of the temple from morning 6 AM to night 10 PM As a magistrate, Paralakhemundi Tehsildar Achutananda Jani along with some office bearers will be deployed extensively by Parala Adarsh police station.

It is known that this order has been issued by the Additional District Dairajaj. According to the rituals of the three gods, the worship will be celebrated at Paralakhemundi. It is worth mentioning here that last year also was not celebrated due to Covid restrictions.
