Paradip- Senior and Under 19 Intraclub Cricket Tournament organised by Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) associate with Paradip Port Cricket District from 26th March to 7th April 2021 came to an end at Gopabandhu stadium here at in Paradip on Wednesday. 12 local teams were participated in the tournament. The final match was played between Port Club and Officers Club. Batting first, Port Club was scored 302 runs in 49 overs fo the loss of 10 wickets. Chasing the target, Officers Club loose the match by scoring 271 runs in 49.5 overs with losses of 10 wickets.
Finally, Keshav Negi, Subham Kumar and Suryakant Jena declared as man of the series, best batsman and bowler accordingly. The final match was conducted by umpires George Paul Rabinson, Nihar Baliarsingh and Debendra Nayak. In the prize distribution ceremony, Captain Atulya Kumar Mohapatra, Dy. Conservator,PPT, Bablu Sikdar, working president, Paradip Port Sports Council, A.K.Sutar, senior member, Paradip Golf Club were present as chief guest and guests of honour respectively and distributes trophy and prizes to the winner team and players. The event was coordinated by Rabindra Kumar Das, Advisor sports & member of OCA, M.R.Sethy, captain, Paradip Port Cricket team, R.R.Beura, secretary, GKS, Sisir Pati and others.
